Cast Stone is a masonry product, used as an architectural feature, trim, ornament or facing for buildings. It consists of white or grey cements, natural or manufactured sands and color pigments to achieve a desired color and appearance. Cast stone is produced with low water-to-cement ratio mixture with a dry consistency. The mixture is tamped into the mold, and then released for curing. This procedure is referred to as vibrant-dry-tamped cast stone. With the ability to simulate natural stone, cast stone is a cost effective alternative.
